Dear Members,

Welcome to the Mississippi Turfgrass Association website! The LMGCSA has graciously agreed to host a stand alone HTML page for our association. This is a basic page with limited capabilities but it should serve us well for posting news, membership applications and many other documents that are useful to our members.

The Mississippi Turfgrass Association has named the 2012 Yard Dawg Classic in memory of Scott McNeer. Scott was a 1997 graduate of the Golf & Sports Turf Management Program at Mississippi State University. He had been serving as General Manager at Spring Creek Ranch in Collierville, Tennessee when he was diagnosed with colon cancer in 2011. Scott fought a hard battle but passed away in February of this year. His wife, Kim, is excited to have the Yard Dawg named in memory of her “amazing” husband. For those of you who knew Scott, you can imagine how proud he would be to be honored by the MTA. Scott is survived by his lovely wife Kim and two beautiful daughters, Molly and Emma.
